Street Pole Banner Sizing

Street pole banners are generally made in common sizes, however adjustments may need to be made if you already have banner brackets installed onto your lamp posts.

 Common Sizes Include:

  • 1.5' wide x 3' tall
  • 2' wide x 3' tall
  • 2' wide x 4' tall
  • 2' wide x 5' tall
  • 2.5' wide x 5' tall
  • 2.5' wide x 6' tall

Installation

Street Pole Banner Installation

Street pole banners are installed onto banner arm hardware which is fixed to a lamp post or pole of some sort. There are a few different kinds of banners brackets on the market, all of which are relatively similar

 

Fixed Street Pole Banner Brackets

  • These brackets are fixed onto your pole (ie they cannot be moved)
  • They may have been welded onto your pole by the pole manufacturer, or have after-market brackets installed onto them that cannot be moved easily

For these brackets, it is very important to measure your poles well prior to ordering

It is imperative to use a zip tie to attach the inner grommets to the banner bracket, unless you have finials at the end of the banner bracket to prevent the banners from sliding off.

Adjustable Street Pole Banner Brackets

  • These street pole banner brackets are most likely installed onto your lamp post as an after-market addition
  • These can be adjusted up and down without unbanding the bracket from the post, thereby allowing flexibility in banner sizing (to a small degree) as well as ease of installation on hot/cold/windy days.

Warranty

Street Pole Banners are subject to all kinds of harsh weather conditions. The longevity of a street pole banner is largely determined by the way it was installed. Green Valley Flags does not provide a warranty on its street pole banners specifically because the installation method plays a major role in any potential material failures that may present in the future.

How can you make sure your street banners last?

  • Ensure they are installed well. This means that they are installed tightly and there is NO billowing or flapping of the banner in any way. The more the banner moves, the lower the lifespan. Often times installers without adequate experience with street pole banners may find it difficult to get the banner sufficiently tight so that there is no billowing. Encourage them to try and get them as tight as possible
  • Buy adjustable brackets. The above problem often happens when banners are made too big and the brackets are not adjustable to make the space bigger to accommodate the larger size. To prevent this, purchase adjustable banners brackets. This way your installer can simply install the bracket castings onto the lamp post and then tap the bracket up/down with a hammer to get it to the desired tightness

Once ordered, you will receive a proof within 24 -36 hours, depending in if you are ordering from our stock catalogue or if you require custom designing. 

Once proofs are approved, street pole banners require 10 business days for production and then an additional 5 business days for shipping

 

 

Refund Policy

CANCELLATIONS, RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

RETURNS OF PRODUCTS WITH DEFECTS

At Green Valley Flags, we want you to be satisfied when you receive your products. All custom products are tailor made to your specifications, as such there is potential for human error, however minimal. Under normal circumstances, our quality control department would pick up on it but sometimes things slip through and the order is dispatched. You might be wondering, what do I do incase of a manufacturing defect?

If our products are faulty in any way, you can return them within 14 days of receipt. You can contact our customer service department by emailing info@greenvalleyflags.com. Let us know your name, order number and concern and we will respond quickly to resolve your issues. We ask you provide a digital image of the fault in your product as well as a clear description of the problem.

In most cases, we will be able to resolve your issue via email. If the fault cannot be verified, you may  need to return your product to us for inspection.

RETURNS OF NON FAULTY PRODUCTS

With regards to all products, we cannot accept the returns of non-defective products. We produce all of our products, including stock-design banners, as and when orders are placed. This means that every order, regardless of customization or not, was specifically produced for the customer and cannot be returned or re-stocked for resale at a later date. Unless the product is defective or there is evidence of poor workmanship, no products can be returned or exchanged.  

REFUND POLICY

Prior to Production - Sometimes you may purchase a product but quickly decide that you do not wish to go through with the purchase. We wait 1 hour after you place an order/ approve a proof to start manufacturing. If you contact a representative by phone only within the first hour then we will be able to cancel your order and issue a refund for the full amount.

If you have any questions, doubts, concerns or things you wish to discuss about the product, feel free to give our team a call to address your concerns.

After Receipt of Goods - If you receive your goods and you are unhappy for any reason, please do let us know, we will be happy to review and correct anything that was a result of our oversight or poor workmanship. We value feedback and strive to improve our service in all ways possible. To avoid being unhappy with your item be sure to double check the following:

  1. Text - check spelling, font, size and placement on the design to ensure it meets your satisfaction
  2. Check sizes - check the size of your design in relation to the product. Please be sure to check that the size of the artwork you submit is high enough quality to avoid pixelation when printing. Check the size of product you are purchasing to ensure it meets your needs. What is the size of your pole? See our Sizing Chart if you are not sure.
  3. Preview Your Design - You are able to preview your design by either downloading a Template and using a software like Adobe Illustrator to review a proof or by double checking the artwork uploaded to the site. 

CANCELLATIONS POLICY

Within an Hour of Purchase - We wait one hour after you place your order (stock designs)/ approve your proof (customized deisgns) before we start making it. Within this hour, you may contact us via phone if you wish to edit or change your mind and we can issue you a full refund

An Hour after Purchase - We custom make each product to order and due to the efforts and materials that go into each banner, we cannot cancel an order once the product goes into production. If you wish to cancel your order prior to the start of production, there will be a 35% charge of the cost of items.
