Street Pole Banners are subject to all kinds of harsh weather conditions. The longevity of a street pole banner is largely determined by the way it was installed. Green Valley Flags does not provide a warranty on its street pole banners specifically because the installation method plays a major role in any potential material failures that may present in the future.
How can you make sure your street banners last?
- Ensure they are installed well. This means that they are installed tightly and there is NO billowing or flapping of the banner in any way. The more the banner moves, the lower the lifespan. Often times installers without adequate experience with street pole banners may find it difficult to get the banner sufficiently tight so that there is no billowing. Encourage them to try and get them as tight as possible
- Buy adjustable brackets. The above problem often happens when banners are made too big and the brackets are not adjustable to make the space bigger to accommodate the larger size. To prevent this, purchase adjustable banners brackets. This way your installer can simply install the bracket castings onto the lamp post and then tap the bracket up/down with a hammer to get it to the desired tightness
