We've all seen them before, those dull, flappy, cracking street pole banners. How do they get that way and how do we avoid it?
The simple answer is: high quality substrates (materials) and the right inks. At the Street Pole Banner Co. we only use Ultraflex products, made right here in the USA. All of our substrates are rated for all-weather outdoor use (ie. no cracking in the cold) and have scrim properties that give them high tensile and rip-strength. You won't see wind slats or "vents" in our banners. They don't need them. In fact, we find that wind slats actually reduce the strength of our street pole banners (not to mention they look bad, too).
UV rated inks are used on all of our street pole banners. Depending on UV exposure, we see our banner lasting 3+ years before noticeable fading occurs.
We don't cut corners here at the Street Pole Banner Co. Over 30 years of street pole banner printing has taught us a thing or two. Out formula is simple: High quality input materials + experience = high quality end products.
