Funding for Local Legends Street Pole Banner Programs

Obtaining funding for a Local Legends Program can be a daunting task. However, if you find the right niche or organization, you may find it easier than you think. Here are a few places to help start your journey

You may be able to ask for funding on a per banner (or per person) basis or as a lump sum amount from a granting authority like a City or Town.

Funding for Street Pole Banners From Your City or Town

Your City or Town may have funds or grants available for preservation of history or town beautification or community engagement. The great thing about the Local Legends program is that the street pole banners can fall under any number of categories that could qualify it for funding. Schedule a meeting with your town and talk to as many people as possible to see where funding can be accessed. These funds would likely be provided as a lump sum grant based on your costs.

Funding for Home Town Heroes Pole Banners from Veterans Organizations

Veterans organizations may have earmarked funds from grants for many purposes that the Local Legends program can qualify. Talk to your local US Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars organizations. These funds would likely be provided on a per banner or per veteran basis.

Funding For Local Legends Lamp Post Banners From Employers

If you’re looking to honor remarkable community members with street pole banners that are say teachers, doctors or front-line workers, you will likely find support with their employers. Whether it’s the school board where teachers work or the hospital where the doctors and nurses practice; you will likely find support for honoring their employees through this program. These funds would likely be provided on a per banner or per employee basis.

Sponsoring Street Pole Banners by the Families of Veterans

The family of a deceased veteran may be interested in displaying their legacy to the Public. It is quite common for a family to sponsor a banner, the hardware and installation of  a light pole banner in honor of their loved one. These funds would likely be provided on a per banner basis.

Corporate sponsors For Funding Local Legends Street Pole Banner Programs

Corporate sponsors may be a good source of funding for sponsoring Hometown Heroes Street Pole Banner programs. There are many businesses that rely on community, health care worker and veteran patronage that may be interested in sponsoring banners either in a lump sum or on a per-banner basis. Smaller businesses in smaller cities and towns may be interested in this if their logos are visible on the banners and they are displayed in a prominent area like main street or even in front of their business
